<Mini> Beast

<Mini>Beast was developed for<mini> LowRez Jam 2021. The optional theme here is MINIBEASTS GONE WRONG. So, you're looking at a simple and straightforward action game about assembling biological abominations and battling in amazing technicolor arenas.</mini>

There's some barebones instructions in-game. But if you need more detail, and some strategic advice, see the included Readme file.

Controls

You will need the MOUSE to interact with menus. Move the cursor by moving your mouse, and interact with buttons by LEFT-CLICKING. This is especially important in the MONSTER BUILDER - you can attach new parts by clicking on them in your inventory, on the right.

Use WASD to move. If you have a gamepad, you can also use the D-PAD or the LEFT ANALOG STICK.

Use the ARROW KEYS to shoot. If you have a gamepad, you can also use the RIGHT ANALOG STICK, or the YXBA buttons. If you hold the same attack button for a short time, the CAMERA will pan over slightly.

Finally, if you get stuck, you can deal damage to yourself with the ESCAPE KEY. That isn't useful for anything, but it'll let you get out of a deadlock.
